 What are Blood Cancers?

  • Blood cancer describes any cancer which forms in the bone marrow or lymphatic tissues of the body.
  • The major forms of blood cancer are leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
  • They affect the way your body makes blood which is critical for oxygen supply, stopping bleeding after injury and fighting infection
