surroundings of Wormington Grange to celebrate LINC’s 10th
Anniversary. Catering by Williams Kitchen at Calcot Manor, £95

Art Show at
Stanway House - 7-9 March
  
The LINC Art Show was held at Stanway House this
year by kind permission of Lord Niedpath. The preview evening
took place on Friday evening and was opened by Lady Apsley, the
patron of LINC; a
record number of guests enjoyed a glass of wine and nibbles and
were able to enjoy the display of local art, photography, glass
design and pottery in the beautiful surroundings of the 14th
century tithe barn. The Saturday and Sunday were open to all,
attracting lots of visitors. This event raised £2,000.00.
Kew
Gardens 18 March
This was a wonderful day at Kew with tea and
coffee on arrival, a guided tour and a chance to see 28 outdoor
sculptures by Henry Moore, the first exhibition of its kind to
be held in London. Everybody who joined us at Kew said that it
was a great day out and would love us to arrange another trip in
a different season – watch this space…..
Severn Sound Supports LINC
Severn Sound Money Mountain raises money
exclusively for local charities and community groups; over 1.2
million has been raised so far. We would like to take this
opportunity to say thank you for all the donations they have
given to LINC so far, with another fabulous £1,000 donated in
March.
LINC first past the finishing
line!
Thanks to Ladbrokes LINC has a whopping
£2,000 to add to its fundraising account. Ladbrokes of
Cheltenham kindly donated this amount to LINC during the Gold
Cup race week; we would like to send them a big thank you. This
must have been a very tense race week for them with the adverse
weather conditions and cancellations, but they still found time
to support us!
The Great Weather Lottery
Did you know that you could join in and
play The Great Weather Lottery with the chance of winning up to
£10,000 daily?
The Lottery is really fun to play, simply select six single
lucky numbers (between 0-9) to play in our daily game (5 days a
week, Monday-Friday).
Every day we will take the last digit of the recorded
temperature (in Fahrenheit) as reported in the Daily Telegraph
for six locations and scan all the entries to see who has won!

We need cakes!! We have two events coming
up both at which we are holding a cake stall, if you could make
a cake or donate a cake for either of these events please
contact us and we will give you all the information.
The loose change appeal has reached £14,000 - thank you to
everyone who continues to hand in their loose change
